Timber Frame Barns

Old timber frame barns dotting former farming areas are the source of much of the reclaimed wood available today. Finding a barn in good enough shape for a reclaim takedown is often a challenge. The barn must be in good enough shape structurally to support a safe takedown since you can't just push it over and recover the 100+ year old beams intact. Careful planning and staging as well as the proper equipment and experience is required to deconstruct structures this large.
